Welcome to Birdstone Labradors. Our goal is to produce Labradors that are competitive in the conformation ring, possesses the breed’s classic temperament and intelligence and are sound, healthy dogs. We specialize in AKC Labradors of the English type, large boned, blocky heads and that easy-to-live-with temperament. At Birdstone we combine my love of the breed ring with my husband’s love of hunting behind a good bird dog. Each fall my husband and I spend a week in the Dakotas hunting with a couple of the dogs you are about to meet on these pages. Our entire breeding stock have OFA-certified hips, elbows and hearts, they are Optigen tested and their eyes are CERF’d annually. We occasionally have older Labradors as well.
